Keith Campbell, Chairman of the Board, addressed the audience at the awards ceremony, “My great grandfather started Mannington 100 years ago as a way to stay close with his two sons. It was truly a family business. Here we are in our fourth generation, moving into the fifth, and we’re still a true family business. It’s an honor to be recognized and I know they would be proud of what Mannington has become.”

HWSC has been working with the Campbell Family for the past several years on matters related to planning for their fourth to fifth generational transition. We have guided the Campbell Family on organizing its Family Council to formalize ownership governance and generational transition plan development and implementation processes. We are honored to serve the Campbell Family shareholders.

Since 1982, HWSC has existed for one fundamental reason: we are passionate about the important purpose, role and value business owning families bring to our economy and society. Many such businesses are located in smaller towns and rural areas, similar to Mannington Mills. The Campbell Family’s values have guided Mannington Mills for over 100 years. The Company is a great example of what family controlled businesses do everyday for their employees, customers, suppliers, communities and regional economies.
